Raw Coal Pile at Preparation Plant
AME has the ability to prepare and manage mineral exploration programs including geotechnical core logging, coal quality analysis, and physical property testing. The data collected from potential seam splits, variations in coal quality, and geologic washouts are used in the estimation of reserve quantity and quality.
  • Geotechnical drilling programs to evaluate soil and coal refuse conditions as well as bearing capacities for foundations, damns, and impoundments.
  • Reserve estimation using geometric or geostatic methods to determine minable tonnages, total reject, and coal quality.
  • Mine feasibility studies incorporating commercial and in-house programs to quantify the influence of geological, mining, and market variables on profitability.
