Underground Ventilation

Picture
3-dimensional Model of Ventilation Network
Ventilation is one of the largest expenses for an underground mining operation. AME provides services for ventilation analysis, design, and optimization, implementing a wide variety of cost-effective solutions. From on-site ventilation surveys to detailed numerical models, AME can aid in the control of dust, gas, DPM (diesel particulate matter), and blast fumes.
  • On-site ventilation surveys are conducted to determine airflow distributions, pressure, and air quality within the ventilation system. Information is utilized in the analysis of the ventilation network and the design of ventilation controls.
  • Modern numerical models are utilized in the analysis of ventilation networks providing detailed information on ventilation efficiencies, air leakage, contaminate dispersion, etc.
